Believe in life, not loss.
Stephy’s Place is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit support center for grief and loss, founded in Red Bank, New Jersey in 2015. We are a free “safe place” for anyone who has suffered loss, with the sole purpose of sharing faith, hope, and love.
For us, mourning is not something that happens “for a little while.” It is a process, a journey, one that no one should have to walk alone. We hold space for that journey through free, peer-led support groups, meditation, and community.
What we do
- Free support groups meeting Monday through Thursday, facilitated by trained group leaders.
- Monthly meditation for current members, held the first Monday of each month at 10am.
- Resources, including The Threshold of Grief by Kevin Keelen, with proceeds benefiting Stephy’s Place.
- Community, in person, for anyone who needs a safe and understanding ear. Nothing replaces being together in the same room.

The people behind Stephy’s Place
Stephy’s Place is carried by people who have walked through grief themselves. Most of our facilitators and volunteers found their way here as group members first, and chose to stay and companion others.
