I love the shore and spent most of my life living in this area. In 1979, I married the girl next door and we raised two wonderful sons. She was a teacher and I worked in computer systems sales. We were actively involved with our son's activities growing up as Band Parents, Scouts leaders, Soccer Coach and volunteered in the schools.

In 2012, I retired from IBM after a 38 year career. A month later, my wife was diagnosed with cancer and passed away two years later. A good friend, who was part of the New Life Support Group, told me about the formation of Stephy's Place and I became part of the first loss of spouse Support Group.

I have continued as an active participant at Stephy's Place and have seen the positive impact it has had in helping so many people in dealing with their grief and learning to live a meaningful, happy and productive life.

I enjoy sharing my own experiences and helping friends who have lost a loved one and that includes being a Group Facilitator at Stephy's Place.
